Funding Sources

The Latimer Quilt & Textile Center is a non-profit organization operated by volunteers and two part-time employees. A nine person Board of Directors acts as administrator. The Latimer Center generates income through membership, admissions, donations, gift shop sales, self published books and patterns, fund raisers, and grants for specific projects.

The Center has a small endowment fund which it hopes to increase to support the hiring of a credentialed textile curator and other personnel vital to the operation of a full-fledged museum. Donations specifically to this fund are always gratefully received and tax-deductible (as are all donations to the Center).
